Just checking to see if anyone has an old Cali catalytic converter gathering dust somewhere?

Got this one off my 76. Not sure what shape its in but is on the stock exhaust system.

I've got an old unlabeled converter in the garage. Dont know if it would pass a visual with your tech as its not "FOR CALIFORNIA USE"

Marks would be a better bet IMHO.

i can unbolt it and see how it looks inside and if it has carb approval.

An old looking one like that they probably wouldnt even check for a CARB stamp as there wasnt CARB stamps back in 76. A nice shiny one like mine would get inspected...

Its got this id which includes CA. Inside looks good. definitely a replacement one. car has been off the road since 1991 I think. @jeffdon the prior owner..

I haven't measured the two, but these looks remarkably like the cats used on Vanagons.
