The car was modified for autocross and PCA events in the late 1990's by a previous owner. The engine, transmission, and suspension work was completed by Allen Johnsen Racing Services (AJRS) and included a complete engine rebuild with 2.0 Euro Mahle Pistons and Cylinders, AJRS race heads, Pauter connecting rods and 40 IDF Weber carbs. The transmission rebuild included A-F-KL- S-X shortened gears, 911S clutch package, lightened flywheel, and a Quaife LSD. Extra cooling for the engine was added with an Accusump, accumulator , and a front oil cooler cut into the front trunk. Suspension work included Weltmeister sway bars (22F/16R), 180 lb. rear springs, Koni Shocks, boxed trailing arms, and suspension supports.
I have receipts dating back to the early 1980's on the car and believe the mileage to be correct on the car with approximately 5,000 miles on the engine and transmission. The interior has replacement door cards and carpets, dash is cracked, seats were recovered in leather in 2013 windshield is almost perfect. Car shifts smoothly. Spares include 8 Mahle wheels (same as the ones on the car), Ultra Shield race seat, and almost all of the original parts removed from the car.
I have additional photos of the car including shots on a car lift showing modifications and the condition of the vehicle. Vehicle located in East Tennessee.
