Got two free tubs of parts and found these two on the bottom. Are they fuel injector controllers and can they be easily tested? Some of the parts in the bins looked to have significant water damage, these were on the top so may have stayed relatively dry.

There’s equipment that can test it. I think Auto AtlantA offers free testing.

The smaller one is for L Jet. I did not run the number. The other is for D Jet fuel injection.
I don't know of any machine that can test them.

They are both fuel injection ECUs. The larger one is for Djet and is for a 73 2.0. The smaller is Ljet. They used to make testers for both, but can be hard to come by. I have a tester for Djet ECUs if you really want to test it. It's rare that they go bad though. Usually issues arise from either a mismatched ECU to engine and pressure sensor, or if someone opened the ECU and made adjustments.

This is what the Djet tester looks like. It has a plug that sandwiches between the ECU and the wiring harness.

I have a 73 that I’m rebuilding, going up on rotisserie later today. I wanted to buy a 2 liter engine, ideally with injection system for the final assembly.
Must be a good sign. I may have the beginnings. Thanks
