that doenst look like a gn engine. it looks like an early t-type carbed engine from the late 70's early 80's

yes, it is the same car;. George is a nice guy. teh engine pulls hard above 3800 but is rough(typical Buick after 5000. I'll post some more pics. he had alot of stuff

the engine IS a T-Type Buick with the skip fire ingnition. they rev rough. why would Buick put a turbo on these? teh Grand National had teh smooth firing v6 with FI

its a V8 ignition with 2 plugs deleted. note teh gap in teh Dizzy cap

pull thru turbo carb

needs an expansion tank in teh cooling system

be careful, check engine type and serial numbers...

that would be a good price for a 2,2E - but... Circle One is where the MFI drainback crankcase vent isn't. Circle Two is where the MFI drive pulley isn't. IMO - no 'E' cams, no 'E' engine...

there are MANY plausible, satisfactory explanations of what could have been done; make sure you get one...

interesting that he'll sell the engine to a 'wining' bidder - as opposed to a 'winning' bidder... so i guess you gotta grovel too...

that's just the casting number of the alternator shroud.

the engine serial number and Type Number are found on the right side of the case in the area of the crankshaft pulley.

the '901' number on the side of the case is the engine case casting number, and similarly not unique.
