I'm running 15x9 in the back and 15x8 in the front, and went with 225/50/15 all round.
This last pic is when I had a 9" fitted on the front just after I trimmed the front arches. You can see, even on the 15x9 these tires have a nice beefy sidewall.
If you plug those numbers (225/50/15) into a tire size calculator it will give you a range of different tire sizes based on rim widths that will give you a similar diameter/look to what I'm running:
