I have five early type brake line clips that were a more robust design. Three were in great shape. The other two had rust pits. These would be correct for a 914-6 restoration.

The later clips are a loose fit to the hose
Same as early VW brake line clip.

do you know the VW part number ? In PET they show the same number for early and late. I know the later 914 clips are the same aas VW but did not know about the early clips.
