Do all of the throw out bearings have the two guides? #9 in the picture. When I took mine apart these were not there.

There should be 2 of them.

you need these..
they often get reused, and then fall apart with age.
but you need them.

The retaining clip for the pivot is spent too. Replace the small ballcup bushing while you're in there.

The retaining clip seems to be ok but I have replaced the ball cup. Thank you!

Hello,
I'm going through the same process. Any other items need to be replaced before mating to the engine?- Replacing items 5, 8 and 9.

Is item #1 inside the transmission?

While your in there ~
if you are cutting your flywheel vs new, consider you may need to shim the pivot ball out.
