Dumb question. I know that torsion bars are identified for left or right side installation, but does the orientation front to back matter?

Thanks.

The Right and Left need to be facing the same direction as each other.

they need to twist in the same direction as installed at the factory
as long as the Right and Left show the mark the same side as each other, the direction will be correct.

Ok, thanks. These are replacements and I have them on their respective sides and both have the end stamping facing toward the rear.

markings will rotate the same direction
as long as the right and left have the mark both back.... or both forward... but the same R to L
