@BK911
- may I ask where did you source the vacuum nipple? I've been looking but utterly no luck in finding one.

I know that is where they go but finding a vendor that has them as been super frustrating.

Check the ads on the Samba website. That’s where I found some last year.

I bet a fuel nipple from an RC hobby shop. Should have something that would work and look nice too

What size hose? Here's a 10-pack of 1/8":

...installable with this:

Bet you can find singles in your local store.

Got mine on ebay. They say they are for DCOE but they are exactly what came installed on my 40IDFs when new, complete with screw plugs.

They came from Pierce Manifold so you might be able to get them a little cheaper ordering direct. They are a press fit just like the originals. Here's a pic. The one on top was factory installed. The one on bottom is what I added.

I'm not sure I understand the question.
The vac nipple is part of the carb body.
The nipple is plugged with a small slotted screw.
Remove the screw and the vac nipple remains.

Ok I see it now.
The port I used is a ported not a manifold vacuum.

I personally have never had much luck with vacuum ports on a 205 and just leave it (IIRC) open. But that said it's been ages since I've used one, my carb go to is red cap Mallory that I often mod with a pertronix.

If your cam choice has a long duration you don't have a vacuum signal worth a crap anyways.

First of all thank you for all of the help and responses. I hope everybody had a good week.

When I unscrew what Brock circled I do not have a nipple/fitting for a vacuum line, it’s just open.

The link to the Del shop that @rfinegan with the threaded part number 71 looks like the ticket, I’m assuming the threads on a dell will be the same on a Weber or EMPI?

I'm not sure I'm understanding. The end result is essentially the same with either version. You just need to get a hole into the right location on the carb you can attach a vacuum hose to. I think the only real diff between the del and weber versions is that the del threads in vs a press fit. Here's might with screw plugs removed and hoses attached.
