Are 1.7 and 2.0 physically the same?
Is the difference just the adjustment?
Can a 1.7 be adjusted to be used in a 2.0?

2liter units have one additional component, a spacer ring which increases the travel limits of the diaphragm.
Otherwise they are essentially the same.

Early 1.7 units have a stop ring inside the cover but it can be machined off to increase travel of the diaphram to make it a 2.0 mps
