Would anyone even think of putting this in a 914? I mean with its rarity, it would be a once in a lifetime build!

"not equipped with any internal components", seems like a big hurdle for a rare engine.

Too long, besides it's Italian trash. laugh.gif
Looks like from a CanAm car, cool sound but not the same as a 917. It's only 500HP so this is from the restricted HP cars 1974 on after they banned the 917/30.

I've had thoughts of the Audi v10 behind a TDI 01E

Really, Really deep thoughts....

If the youtube channel ever takes off, thats one build I really want to do.

I believe the engine was displayed at the then Alfa Romeo headquarters in
Englewood Cliffs, NJ many years ago
.....alongside a T33 ! mmmmmm
If ever you find yourself in Arese, Lombardy DO visit the Alfa Romeo Museo
It is spectacular.
