It's nothing that $70K won't fix.

They have this one as well if you don't want to put a lot of work into it. (And always liked SAABs better)

Last month when this car was posted, someone mentioned it might be one of the first 100 VINs, and therefore worth restoring.

Over priced by $32k.
I'd give him $500 in a heartbeat.
Yes, I would.

I love the “excellent for a full restoration’... excellent for who?

This was about what my six looked like when I got it, but I paid $3500, so it was all relative. Regret selling it a few years later but it got me into my driver 356, so decisions had to be made.

Must have had original Ejector seats... the driver out the back window, passenger through the front windshield... Just before the missle strike

Please vet this one for me as its been on my radar lately

I'd pass based on what I see there. There is rust in the passenger door and passenger front fender corner by the headlight. I bet once you started digging you'd find a whole lot more. For that price for a conversion it should be just about perfect. For 20K you would have enough money left to fix it, but it's Beverlyhillscarclub so he probably wouldn't take that for it. The suspension sits like it's just been cleared for takeoff, probably left the stock springs to try and hold up the heavier engine. You would be miles ahead if you hustled over here
http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=351411 and then put in a 6.

It's a "low mileage example" and it has a 6 cyl.
