During a moment of brain fade, I made more holes than I need. I had recovered the front dash plate (for the second time--another story) and before sticking it on the dash frame, I cut open all the factory holes: 3 on the left and 3 on the right of the steering wheel. I then went on to install the dash top piece and mount the complete assembly in the car.
As soon as I started to feed the dash wiring I realized what I did. The left 3 holes are for the lights, hazard, and fog lights. On the right, the big hole is for the cigarette lighter.
What would go in the other switch holes on the right? Rear window defroster? Other?
More important, what should I do? My OCD self says to take it all apart and recover the dash plate again--and only cut the holes I have switches for. Or I can add switches (I have a need for at least one new switch.
IIRC the left of the Cig Lighter is the Rear Window Defogger, so get that switch, & it's up to you if you want to also get the harness & defogger rear window - which may be handy in SW Colo crispy mornings/nights drives.
In any case - the rightmost hole closest to the radio is ideal for the USB &/or Aux port - as Mark suggested.

Have at it!
Show us some pix of your final solution too.
