Cup holder: roll of. Duct tape - sticky on the carpeted location of your choice plus it may also serve other needs.

I have a anco luggage rack that needs to be rechromed or repainted (it has some over spray on it, got it that way).

Do I have to mar the trunk of my precious 914 to use this or is it ingenious in how it connects?

It clamps around the front of the trunk lid and bolts through the lid at the rear. Some folks obtain a spare lid for when they want to use the rack.
