I currently have the H4's but what would be a good upgrade for the headlights?

What's required to make them fit? Says some modification.

There are a lot of options. You can just replace bulbs or replace the entire headlight. Here is a nice example of a stock looking H4 with the conversion to LED. This is the next thing on my "buy" list for my car. https://vintagecarleds.com/shop/7-inch/vc4000-ultimate-kit/

Edit: Disregard.

I have the vintage car 4000 Really significant upgrade. Welcome to modern lighting!

The remote circuit is just large enough to require carful installation under the eyebrow panels so as not to interfere with the pop up mechanism. Doable, just be careful.

Nice product.

I've said it before, but remember that a headlight upgrade is not just about throwing more light on the road. It is about throwing more light in the right places WITHOUT blinding other drivers. Any headlight that causes another driver to veer into your lane after being blinded is NOT an upgrade. Simply retrofitting brighter LED bulbs in housings designed for halogen can significantly change the pattern of light thrown by the unit. The best way to ensure headlights are safe for everyone is to buy US D
OT compliant units (or E-code in Europe).

I banged these in over the winter - they required significant adjusment to get them aimed properly, but I am very happy with the purchase. Plug & play - they fit like the old sealed beams did.

I did the vintage upgrade with H4 lenses. Look great, aimed appropriately, and you can actually see in the dark. Brilliant!

Been a few years, but sticks in my mind that I just used the stock lenses, and got the H4 from Bus Depot.

So with these, you use the H4 lenses, with LED bulbs?
BillJ
With these you take them out of the box, hook up to stock connectors, secure into stock retaining rings, aim, and drive. Was super simple plug and play. They come ready to install as a single unit.

I didn't need any modification but I also bought their H4 globes at the same time.

I did need get a Spokeworks EP26 relay to get my fogs to play nice but that's easy.

I installed 914 LED replacement bulbs (first version ) into my Cibie H4 globes without issue. No modification to the vehicle required just need to make sure you route the plug wires properly so they don't hang up when the lights open up.

I don't see any pics that shows the plugs on the back. I can't imagine these are plug and play. How much modding is needed?
