Got the traling arm off and i am changing the bushing,, the old one were hard to convice out , but the new one doe not want to cooperate, it goes ok on the one side until it hits the second side and then the other one always pops out,,, so what is the best way to put those back in

i know , i have tried the hammer , but is there a trick or should i consider getting a press ( i got a line on a 12 tons)

Are you instaling new stock rubber ones or plastic?

Well my question is did you match fit the Plastic bushing to the shaft and housing?
10lb of bushing won't fit in a 5 lb housing.

I used a press and a bunch of grease! It went together as smooth as snot!

Yes, the rubber one are better to press in. Nice and slow and smooth.
