So I'm getting everything ready to weld this in. welder.gif

Wanted to see if any others had to do a little banging smash.gif to get the bottom of the mount to sit flush against the firewall or this car is so jacked from the hack job of fixing the clutch tube from before it's no longer a true flat surface. I did manage to get it back to looking better around the tube. Maybe some self tapping screws can bring it together at the bottom after welding the top.

Personally I'd bolt everything to the engine, install the engine, line it up and tack weld it in. Then I'd remove the engine and weld it in proper. This is how I did mine so that the surround seal hooks onto the surround perfectly.

BTW you PMed me for a pic of my proportion valve mounting, it wouldn't help you as I have a RJ style mount.
