Really nice car, looks like a great purchase. It has the look of a 63K car that has not been abused. Congrats!

Great looking car, congratulations! How does it run? Put some 4 lug Fuchs on it with the biggest rubber you can fit on them, adjust the stance, and drive it!!

in particular - hoses and where they go at both ends.

Sweet find, how is she running? any plans for upgrades? Everyday the number of these clean "low" mileage cars is getting les and less.
Dial it in over the next couple of weeks and bring it to the NE Gathering. Would love to see it.

Can is in different location but maybe how it is for 75s.

So I have 4 fun car spots in my garage..Three were taken with my 1974 Yellow 2.0 that I restored down to the bare metal...a 1974 GTV 2000 in red, a 1971 911S in Gemini blue...and I had one spot open...and as we know, the hunt is the fun part. I wasn't looking for another 914. But then I received a call from Kent at ARI in Stratford, CT. He told me he had seen an all original 914 that I should go and see. I wasn't going to, but he told me it was the nicest one he had seen in a long time. I also wasn't sure I wanted a white car...So off I went to Southport CT to a garage where it was on consignment from an Estate. The first and only owner had passed last year. She was a retired school teacher and had owned the car since day one. Always garaged, but driven often. The shop where the car was located had serviced the car for almost the last 20 years.
He opened the garage and there it was. In a few minutes I could also tell that this was the real deal. 63,000 miles seemed right. Hardly any inside wear. All original, bar perhaps the radio? Some very minor surface rust where you would expect. All panels read about 3.5. Hell hole? What hell hole! clean as a whistle. runs like a charm and very quiet inside. A bit different than my 74. No appearance package, no fog lights - but what are those deep inserts in the front bumper for? Big heavy rubber bumpers..where are all the gauges? and no Fuchs....But wow....what a nice car and the white really looks good in the sun and with all the black. ARI did a full PPI and except for some maintenance items...nothing. Leakdown tests at about 4-5%. Smooth gear changes and everything works.
We made the deal and then I asked my wife if I could buy another car....

no other comment that WOW. Lucky lucky man. 75 76 models were hard on the rear springs no matter how many miles, so best to install a new set of factory repro springs to raise the rear to stock height. Museum piece certainly
The insets in the front bumpers are where the optional fog lights go.

Can is in different location but maybe how it is for 75s.yep, the can in 75 shifts about 1 foot to new position next to battery.
can is the same plastic can they go to in 74 with the change to engine bay location.
ie same as ours starbear.
think i can tell from engine bay photo posted that air cleaner hose comes out of the same end of the can it does on ours starbear - the tapered end. but can't see other hoses.

air cleaner hose and fuel vapor hose goes in opposite end of can,

Deep rectangular inserts in front bumper are for the optional fog lights. My '76 2.0 was similar.. no center console/gauges.. no fog lights either. I prefer them that way. More room for my right leg.

Is it an easy retro fit to install the optional fog lights? We also have a 1975, very similar car, clean no rust 80k miles. West coast car, some original paint

the re-issues are a softer compound these days and have a surprising amount of grip.
at least the XAS, but those should be pretty good.

but i can't read it. looks like it might be 3 numbers, meaning pre 2000.
there are 4 numbers post 2000.
looks like it might say 474? which would mean 47th week of either 94, 84 or maybe 74.
no way to tell what decade prior to 2000. if they are that old they won't be so sticky!
michelin have been making them in their new serbia plant since about 2014/15.
but i don't think michelin stopped making runs of their classic tyres in europe because the guys with citroens always seemed to be able to get them. i remember putting a set of those ZX on my squareback in 92. they were about the last tyre you could get in the correct size that were still around then.
the sticker on your spare is cool, they don't do that anymore.
the sticker would probably date the tyres if you talked to someone who knew.
but if your a concourse type you could roll it on to the grass on those and play with everyone's minds.
just noticed the little stickers on the fan housing in the front trunk!
also - front guard of red car behind your car earlier in thread.
