1600cc (~50HP) four speed... If you go through all this trouble to make something very questionable (!) , why not go all the way and build up the power train and suspension too.

What always fascinates me about this kind of project is that they take a lot of time and effort. You would think that somewhere along the journey that one would come to their aesthetic senses and just realize that it is all wrong and stop. But no, the effort marches on and yields something like this.
