Have a 1970 that I need a steering column and the wiring that hooks up to the ignition and leads eventually to the wiring harness/ fuse panel.

Does anyone know if A column from the 1971 would work for my car? Not sure if it’s compatible although the steering lock mechanism and ignition look correct. Just want be sure the wiring/ turn signal mechanism matches up. Thanks in advance! Todd

70-71 should be plug and play. Ignition lock should interchange if not damaged.

Check the pin number on the plug. Some have a 12 pins. Some have 14.

The one I’m looking at is a 12 pin. I think that’s correct?

It’s correct if there’s a corresponding 12 pin in your car.

Will do- I’ll check the boxed wiring harness to see if I can find the 10 pin female end
