I removed the dash top yesterday thanks to Rob Watson’s 914world info page. I had no clue what was holding it on lol. Amazingly it’s in one piece with only a few scuff marks, what’s the proper way to clean an original dash top? I’m concerned that the wrong solution will cause cracks.

Any thoughts on this? Something from Mother’s? Griott? I used armorall years ago on a spitfire and the dash cracked a lot sooner than expected.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it could be a Coverlay Dash Cap. Is it just a shell that goes over the dash?

Maybe it's just really cooked vinyl but unless it's really dirty, it looks wrong.
