Hey guys,

Does anyone know if I can use a later year non foldable park lever on a 72? Mine is broken and it is the earlier flooding version..

Thanks

Yes you can. I think you need to cut of the stop on the mounting flange that is used for the folding handle

Hello,
Does your handle have the the rubber cover ?
If so and you change to the stright lever, I would be

Yes, that's how my car is set up. I don't remember having to do any cutting, but I did that mod at least 30 years ago. Sorry, no pictures until October or so, as the car is about 1500 miles away. headbang.gif

Same here, mine is also a 72 and I put in a later solid handle. I do not remember anything special to do it. I did it in the early 90's but it seems like it was pull off old handle and put on new handle.
