Anyone interested in a 9/14 get together in Encinitas (North County San Diego) on 9/14 at 5:00pm? I have plenty of parking on my driveway.

A Tuesday evening car show?!?! Why not?!?! Who's in?

5:00pm start, 6:56pm sunset, 9:14pm celebration, 9:30pm go home!

I can grill hot dogs/hamburgers or maybe just get a taco truck if there is enough interest.

As a side note, my orange 914 has been non running for just over 10 years now and I have sold my last running 914. So I currently have no running 914. I figured if I planned on having a 914 event at my home in 40 days, it would give me extra motivation to try and get my (now) 10 year project done in the next 40 days. Can it be done?

Would like to join/come except 50-50 for now since it is on a weekday. For sure if this is weekend, you will have lots of SoCal members who will come.

I've thought about that and could maybe move it to the weekend, but... then it's not 9/14!?!?!

Sounds like a nice time. I have a full winter (coachella valley) of work to get her back on the road. I'm getting very little done this summer. You guys have fun, I lived in Leucadia in the late 70's, the weather should be great in sept.

I'd show, I have a pending trip to the Rubicon trail with my cousin that leaves on the 15th, have to work out details with him to see if that means I leave SD on the 15th to him or if he's expecting me to be there on the 14th...

If it moves up, I'm pretty sure I'll make it.
