Another perspective: Full on race car, but it’s current bid of $8500 with a day to go seems quite low. A rebuilt 2.2 six with PMO efi is worth more than that alone. Maybe you just buy it as a parts car to convert your GT bodied car, then sell that for $95K!

Early 911 owners must have been going through similar head scratching when their cars started shooting up in value. Now people buy short wheel base 959 replicas and return them to stock spec…because it’s financially justifiable.

I'll assume a 2.2 911T engine, since seller states it has T cams, probably worth the $8K complete. Race cars are typically worth less than the sum of the parts.
