Rear valence. What at the holes on the bottom immediately behind the wheels for? Am I missing a trim piece?

The parts in the photo are to be sandblasted and powder coated black before installation.

My valance came from Porsche new, so they belong there. What they are for has been a mystery to me also. They're not weep holes.

Never saw mud flaps on a 914. Were they made for the front as well?
