Good luck finding them I think.

Supposedly these are Ronals made in 1977, W. Germany. smile.gif

Saw them on Facebook.
They are stunning to my eye.
You could do them in gun metal gray and they'd look killer too.

Those are choice for sure! I agree with your gunmetal idea.

Me, I like a simpler wheel pattern on the 914.

There ya go. But they are 14's. @raynekat

There are some differences, ...maybe because this is the first gen wheel?

That Ronal wheel is perfect on a 914. And that color looks great (to my eyes) on that 914. beerchug.gif

For me, the minute someone mentions Ronal wheels, this ALWAYS comes to mind...

These should be labeled as "real wheel porn!" barf.gif

I’m loving those Ronals, I would give up my 5 lug Fuchs for those. Only drawback is cleaning is a pain in the butt.

i know where i have seen those ronal mags now.
a few bmw 2002s run them down here. but they would be 14 inch not 15 inch.
at 15 inch they look way better. bet there are stacks of 14 inch lying around down here,
but not the vw ones.
i will be going searching.

Ronals had a reputation of cracking, so avoiding potholes was mandatory.

American Polishing And Plating in Henderson, Nev. repaired a cracked lip and touch up for me, lucky to find this place thru a friend.

I’m not staying narrow body, so raynekat pm me for pics of my set.
