Any tricks to replacing the motor mounts while the engine is still in the car? The top bolts are giving me the fits. I have the bar loose and the engine on a jack . I can feel the top nut but can't fit a wrench

I just did this. It is hard but doable. I used a socket and a wrench. Mine were super bad because they were entirely separated.

Doh, mine just split today, or noticed them today :-(

My are separated also thought maybe I could turn the split with a vise grip but the top bolt has as square carriage on it. Maybe a crows foot?

Figured it out ! I had to remove the bracket first to remove the top bolt due to the ac idler. Click to view attachment
