Full Version: Did the 70 have a fuel filler door?

I don't recall ever seeing a fuel filler door on the fender. Did the 70 have one, or did the hood have to be raised to fill the tank?

No. Only GT cars have a filer cap through the hood.

Notice: None of those is in the fender. There isn't really enough room to fit a fuel filler pipe from the stock tank to a fender fill location.

I'm sure Porsche could have fit one if they really wanted to. They do some crazy stuff as it is.
I never had a 914 stocker, or one with the fuel tank in it's stock location.
