My car came with dual Weber 40 IDF 42/43 4C carbs. Put on long before I got involved. The issue is that due to many backfires through the years and too many owners, the aux venturis have been melted down enough to be useless. A mechanic I am using tried to sleeve them but it did not work.

It looks like these are very old carbs and those parts are NLA. I have dimensions if anyone has some to offer.

So I either need to find some in a parts stash. Or buy a used carb or two. Or buy new carbs. This is all just to get it running to see if I need the engine rebuilt. A very long frustrating story...

I'll post these in WTB but I need info and suggestions so I am posting here too.

You have the late style 40IDF-XE, by the 42/43 C4 number.

These were made by Weber after Dellorto came on the scene.

The 44IDF aux venturis will fit right in your carbs, no problem.

I have 2 used ones, one missing the spring is all.

Sorry, I did not see the other replies. I was able to get what I needed from alfa1750. Took a few weeks to get here from Italy but they are correct.

Thank you for the replies. I am always learning and I appreciate it.
