WTB I need a muffler "tail pipe" for a 1973 914 1.7. It's the small curved pipe with three bolts coming off the drivers side of the muffler. My car has the indentation for the tailpipe NOT the hole. Need shipped to 77316. Thanks

Sound more like you have a 1.8 muffler.
Can you post a picture of wher the tail pipe connects on your muffler?

Here's the best I could do. Note that the "6 o'clock hole" is at very bottom when the muffler is connected to the heat exchangers. This muffler came off my 1973 1.7
