What are the correct size fittings to use for plumbing a front mounted oil cooler? The engine is a 2.7L six.

Thanks,
Bob

I would not go Smaller than 12AN for a Six
RON S.
I modified a Mazda oil cooler for my 6.

I made the end cap removable, and plumbed it for -16 fittings. It works just fine.

go here and read this.

use the engine donor's year to guide you. lacking that, have a look at the '72 with no external cooling section - that involves plumbing an external thermostat like you'll have to (although it is not the only way).

AN-16 is best; -12 is adequate.
