I have two rust issues: 1) I removed the front bumper and fog lights. Lots of rust on the back of bumper and fog lights. What would be the best way to remove the bumper rust ? It's hard to access because it's behind the support brackets. I have grinded it and treated with naval gelly so far and made very little progress. Would it be best to just take to a chrome plating shop?

2) The fog lights I have grounded down the rust and sanded but the metal is very pitted from years of rust on the backs of the fog lights. Should I try treated these until the rust is gone and then use putty and sand smooth before painting?

I used Lime-Away with some success with a scouring pad or small brush.
Fred at Simple Green told about using Lime-Away several years ago. It works on a ot of other stuff too..
