This is from the Smarter Every Day channel on Youtube. He wanted to know how a carb worked, so he designed a see through carb, 3d Printed it, and filmed it with a high speed camera running on a small engine. Its very interesting, and I learned stuff.

The second video he released a month or so ago and explains how modern carbs work and are manufactured. Also really interesting.

Very cool and you clearly see the venturi effect.

This is why when installing new vents you shouldn't get too big of a venturi, it kills this vortex mixing action. In my 3.0 with 40 IDA the 34mm vent was the biggest I was willing to go, if I needed bigger I was going to have to get 46mm IDA or PMO's.
