I’ve seen this talked about before but can’t remember the detail.. I’m looking at an after market wheel that specifies “60 degree” conical lugs. I think Porsche lugs are consider B14, but is that different than 60 degree? I plan on using studs and need to figure out if I’d need to source a special nut.. or would the typical 911 ones work. Thanks.

R14 is the radius/ball seat and it typical of most Porsche cars. Conical are usually 60 degree. I bought some ATS wheels for my car and they will require a conical bolt.
I’m not going to do studs because I hate them, but that’s just me.

No. 60 degree taper is not a 14mm radius ball seat

Ok thanks, so I’d have to look beyond the Porsche forums for used hardware if using these.. good to know.

I’m going titanium on both my cars. If you’re interested in going baller status too, then here’s the cheapest source:

Porsche uses M14 x 1.5mm pitch.
If you go with studs instead of lug bolts, then you’ll need to know what thread is on the stud.
