Hi everyone! I would like to know if this bracket is located in the same spot on both sides of the car as p.o. Broke off drivers side and is difficult to tell as repair was badly done. Thanks Dennis from B.C.

If you are talking about the rear trunk lid pivot point on the body, I located the new ones using the trunk lid itself making sure the gaps and height were set right. Then I used a couple of self tapping screws on each and checking again the fit of the trunk lid, then welded in place. I wouldn't trust any template or reference you could get, best is to check with the lid.
My $.02.
Good luck with your repair! and...

Too much build variation to trust measurement or templates. Mock up, verify, weld.

1. Disconnect the torsion bars so there is no pressure on the hinge pivot. 2. Install your trunk seal 3. Mount the hinge and the pivot to the trunk lid. 4. Install the trunk lid. 5. Make sure the trunk lid is sitting correctly and all the seams and gaps line up. 6. Tack weld the hinge mount in place. 7. Unbolt the hinge and remove the lid. 8. Weld the hinge mount in place. 9. Paint 10. Reassemble.
Or just buy the JWest rear hinge kit. They are completely adjustable.

Is your engine in place ? If so, the degree of difficulty is greater. Engine removal in near future ?....... wait to do it with engine out. with previous advise ....mount the parts to the lid to find location.
