My 73 OEM pads are hard as rocks, so what do y'all recommend as economical replacements for street use? Have already done 19mmMC switch, SS lines, but need better feel and will have time and jackstands for winter upgrade projects!

Porterfield brake pads are on my 914's in the front. They work great, got them from High Performance House.
They will lock up the wheels real easy. They need to be warmed up a bit for best stoppping,a nd they do squeek a bit, but they stop like crazy. I used them on my daily commuter car with no problems, a great breakpad i think. good luck
