Looking for an exhaust for my project. Car is a 2.0 but running 1.7 heat exchangers so need an exhaust that fits the 1.7 style pipes. Any one have something decent in your garage you are not using?

Yes, muffler only. The only reason I mentioned the heat exchangers is I believe the mufflers are different for 1.7 verse 2.0 cars but you might be able to interchange them with a different muffler mounting bracket.

Thomas Otten has a video on YouTube talking through the differences.
Basically, 1.7 and 1.8 have the same rear flange and are kicked up at the exit. But the 1.8 and 2.0 are the same, larger diameter of pipe compared to the 1.7.

My heat exchangers are kicked up so they are definitely 1.7.

I live in Adamstown, just south of Frederick.
