Impressive details... a couple of companies currently build 917 replicas, I've seen one by RCR which was very nice. About twenty years ago someone was building a flat 12 using two six cases, not sure if it was a pipe dream or completed. I know it's been done with Subies.

My mechanic here in Danville, CA has a Testarossa with a flat 12 IIRC. The guy around the corner from me, here in Blackhawk, sent his yellow Testarossa back to Ferrari to have it painted red. Go figure.
