What spark plug gap should I be using? .028 is normal for old point/condenser ignition, but with a CD box should I increase the gap to .032 or higher?

I have an MSD 6AL on my 2056 and ran at .050 with no issues. Not sure exactly how the two systems compare functionality wise.
