Anyone know the difference between the two? Not a trick question , I don't know.
Carrier on the left is the one that came out of my car, (73 2.0), slight bend on one end. Carrier on the right is one my mechanic had on the stand. No bend.

Pretty sure same carrier only one is bent.
The bent one is damaged
As far as I know all four bolts should align
It must have taken a hell of a hit to bend one of these?? The casting is quite stout

Interesting - the one removed from your 73 looks similar to what I removed from my 75. I was going to put mine in a press and straighten it out but maybe this is an unknown design feature - lol.

Thanks guys, had to confirm "bent" doesn't = "bend" and in this case "bent"="bent", no bueno.
