I'm down to the last bits of my dash project.

While I have things someone open, I want to try to fix the horn--it hasn't worked since i got the car.

I had the bumper of over the summer to repair the driving lights (fixed!) and I had some Hella Supertones (NOS) laying around and swapped it for the original stock horn which wasn't working.

Still nothing.

I have tried to ground the "ring" on the steering wheel...nothing. Fuse is good. Wiring diagram looks straightforward enough. Button seems to be in working order. Relay?

Before I pull the bumper back off, anywhere else I should be looking?

Stock steering wheel? Take the horn pad off and see if it works grounding the wire. That's one end, other end of course is the horn. Work your way in from there.

Stock wheel.

What I've done so far...

Grounded the wire (believe it was Brown with a white stripe). Nothing. Grounded the "ring". Nothing.

followed the wire down to the connector under the dash. Nothing. disappears into the harness from there.

Seems like the bumper coming back off is next.

There is a relay on top of the fuse box for the horn. It may be bad. On the relay socket, jump pin 30 to pin 87 and the horn should blow. If pin 85 has power and pin 86 grounds when the horn button is pushed, you need a new relay.

Do you have a volt meter or test light? Wires are in front trunk to check voltage before pulling bumper off.
