Hi:
Finally got around to troubleshooting my non working speedometer and found that the input shaft had snapped at the worm gear section. See below (from a Samba article)
Is this a common failure mode? Seems odd to me.
I'm putting a WTB post in the marketplace section but if anyone knows where I can find a replacement or a speedo that's broken for other reasons I'd appreciate the help.
