Hey guys
Fuel gage isn’t working and I ran out of gas now it won’t start. Sounds like it’s not getting fuel. Like there’s air in the line and fuel will not pass. It sort of sputters but will not start. Plenty of battery and fuel now.
Any suggestions? AAA on its way
Thanks guys!

You may have fouled the screen on the pickup tube, rust and gunk stopping the flow. I’ve cleaned out 3 port fuel pumps by reversing the current flow. Not sure what your setup is.

Once you have gas in the tank. Try cycling the key on for two seconds and off again a LOT before cranking. This can help push air out of the lines.

If the pump is still in the rear it could also be that you are fighting a bit of vapor lock. If the fuel level in the tank isnt high enough the pump may not prime.

Thanks guys, she’s back on the road piratenanner.gif

Cleaned tank screen and fuel filter then cranked it about 10 X.

She fired right up.
