914 sightings this weekend
Saturday went to PCA Cal Inland concours at Santa Clarita Porsche and they had a 914 in the museum and on display.

Very cool, nice way to spend a day. Love the 80's graphics on the maroon 914. Reminds me of a car I'd see around the San Gabriel Valley back then.

graphics kind of look like they might have been to do with american bicentennial?

Yes 1976, could have been. In 78 I was working in a custom paint shop, and at that time it was the boats, race cars and vans, a whole lot of vans getting graphics. Street cars, it was more candies and perils at that shop.
