Armando had someone that made them to $$$ order, but it's been awhile. Worth calling him... don't think Mittlemotor was the source. Some guy in Austria IIRC.

I may be wrong but didn't Porsche modify the 911 100L tank to work in the 914? Might have my information mixed up.

No, completely different from a 911... the GT tank is almost like two regular 914 tanks put together.

I would think you could potentially cut out and properly reinforce the front bulkhead then get a tank built to fit through.

Are you trying to hedge against future gas price hikes by filling up your 914 as much as possible at today's price?

Mittlemotor is listing them at 14k euros - I remember when they were about 8k and I thought that was a lot. Guess I was wrong

Looking at that photo above makes me want a metal front cooler air deflector shroud.

I actually had my grubby hands on that one some 20 years ago before it went to Armando. At the time i didn't really have any use for it, so i was happy to see it go to a good home.
