Hi all!

Replacing the windshield washing hoses in the pumpkin(1970). Question..... How do you tighten up the spray nozzles? they just spin around.

Thanks

AFAIK, you don't. They push in and snap in place. beerchug.gif

If the nozzles are spinning then the hold down clips in their bases have broken off.

Or they aren't snapped into the holes fully. They can be a real pain to install and can look like they are without being fully inserted.

Isn’t there a spongy gasket that makes then hold tight, perhaps it’s part of the nozzle itself. Anyhow, I have some loose ones that appear to be loose due to old crusty, permanently compressed gaskets.

I had the same problem. Broken clip on the nozzle was the cause. 914Rubber has new black replacement nozzles for $18 each. I think they have a chrome plated version too.
