@GeorgeKopf - have/had the same problem but here's what I did. 1) I ordered the AA replacement mirror and 2) I ordered the [back-ordered] rebuild kit for my existing mirror. My thinking here was to use the new mirror for my driver side (had to have it) and whenever the rebuild kit came in, rebuild the original mirror and use it on my passenger side. Let me tell you.... the mirror AA sells is of surprising good quality. Not that AA sells crap, it was just that this mirror is
really good, IMO. It's rock solid and looks and acts the part. If you buy one, you won't know the difference and it's brand new.
