Folks, I once again come looking for direction. I need to replace this puck disk with a conventional disk.

I harvested this 3.0 drivetrain from another six conversion car and I'm installing it into my chassis. When I drove the donor car I suspected "racing" clutch, having encountered similar characteristics with other cars which had puck disks installed... very short release range, then once warm it chatters when engaging. A bit heavy pedal but acceptable.

This disk measures 225mm where a stock 914-6 disk is 215 mm. The only 225mm 901 disk I see is 911 116 011 07 which is related to 1970/71 911E,S. Does this sound like disk I want?

Here is the current hardware with the puck disk.

Call up Kennedy Engineered Products. It’s there disk and pressure plate. I think Sir Andy was also running the same disk.
