Should a properly adjusted clutch cable result in a pedal travel that's almost all the way to the floor for clutch action? With the pedal board & carpeting there's about 1" of extra pedal travel after the clutch disengages. Thanks.

Thanks for the help.

I just tweaked the cable length by about + 1/2". All seems to be fine. The fork is about 1/4" from the forward casing & the pedal kicks in at about 2" or less. There's no clutch slip under load.

Does this make sense?:

Cable too loose - late clutch disengagement or pedal to the floor

Cable too tight - early clutch disengagement &/or slippage under load

Cheers.

"If the clutch disengages too early then it is too tight, too late then it is too loose."

Captain Obvious here.
