Has anyone electrified their 914 windows with one of the commonly available kits? How did it go?

Where/how did you wire the motors and the switches? In particular, getting power to the motors as well as the drivers switch for the passenger window?
NARP74
Mine was setup when I bought it. They put some switches in the center console near the gauges.

My switches; more later….
I picked up an extra vent and modified it with the Dremel tool. The wires run under the cowling to each door. Really easy way to connect the switches.
I have a wiring diagram, I’ll see if I can find it.

This is a must-have; it allows you to touch the up or down button once instead of holding your finger on the switch. Mine have been working for 10+ years.
Also, a second touch will stop the window
Mine are mounted behind the door panel in a recessed area

At one time there was a specific kit for 914s, IIRC, it was sold under the Autoloc name.
